One Month Old Yesterday

I can't believe that it has been one month since our little boy was born. I can't believe how far he has come and how much happiness he has brought into mine and Travs life. We went to his one month check up yesterday and he now weighs 7 lbs. 10 oz. That still puts him in the 5% but we think it is just great especially because when he left the hospital he was only 5 lbs. 13 oz. He is such a good baby. He eats about every 3-4 hours 4 usually at night (isn't that nice of him) and poops and pees all day long. He is starting to focus in on things and making little faces it is so much fun to watch him. Here are some recent pics of him.

I can't believe how much he has changed and how fast he has recovered since he was born he really is our little champ.

Poor little kid every time he falls asleep with a hat or something on his head it always ends up like this.

Daddy and Boston time. This is the nightly ritual and we all love it. I don't know if you can tell or not but he is holding onto Travs shirt. He does that when someone is holding him and he is falling asleep how cute.

Things I Love

Since I have been a Mom (a whole 3 1/2 weeks) I have found a love for so many things. Some are new loves and some have become deeper.
*Trav- he is the best husband ever and is such an amazing dad I can't even begin to describe it is the cutest thing ever.

*My baby boy and his sweet little face

*Birb rags. We go through about 5-6 every day.
*Boston's crib (he doesn't use it yet, but I think it is so cute and my Mom and Mother In-law did an AMAZING job making his bedding)

*Pampers diapers. We had our fair share of other brands and they don't seem to make the cut. (I know the kid pees and poops a lot but come on)
*My washer and dryer they allow me to do big loads and keep up with the amount of clothes and blankets Boston goes through every day

*My rocker. It makes those middle of the night feedings very comfortable

*My stroller. Since we can't really go out we take little walks around our apt. complex so we can see the outside world.

Home at last

We left the Hospital Thursday when Trav got off work and the past 4 days have been great. Boston is doing well and Trav and I are having so much fun with him being home and we think being Mommy and Daddy is the greatest thing ever. We went to Boston's two week check up today and he is doing great. The poor little guy weighed in at 6lbs. 5oz. putting him in the 5th percentile. When we left the Hospital on Thursday he weighed 5lbs. 13oz. so we were very proud of his 1/2 pound weight gain. Here are some pictures of him over the last couple days. (How sad is it that he is wearing premee clothes and they are still drowning him)

Boston's reaction to the news

We found out yesterday that we will finally be going home on either Wednesday or Thursday. Boston has been of all of his oxygen and everything for a couple days he just needed to get the feeding down. We had a break through on Monday and he got it down. We are all so excited to go home and really be able to enjoy our little man. He is so cute and and smells so yummy. I can't wait to get home and get our own schedule down instead of living on the hospitals time clock for everything.

O and check out Boston's new shades. He has to wear these when he goes under the billy lights for his jaundes.
