Blacked Out

We hit up Disneyland one more time with Dad before we were blacked out for the summer. We had such a fun night together! Thanks to Carter's stuffed shoes we were able to go on lots of fun rides together and that made it all the more fun. We are ready for a Disney break, but I'm sure in a couple weeks we will be more than ready to go back for more.

It's rare to get a normal picture of Carter these days. This has been his new picture face lately. He's such a goofball!

Blue Jays Party

Tonight we had Boston's end of season team party. He has had such a great time playing baseball and really has fallen in love with the sport. I'm so glad that he is at a point that he doesn't take it too serious and just has fun playing and doesn't yet have to worry about ti being too competitive. He got most improved on his hitting which was fun because he worked so hard on it and really did come a long ways. He's always been a sucker for a trophy so he was pretty darn happy about adding a new one to his collection.

A day with the Girls

We had a fun day with Stella and Fionna this morning. The kids made targets for the nerf guns out back and had fun shooting them. We took them on our favorite little hike and despite the fact that there were sign everywhere warning them of rattlesnakes I think they had a fun time!

Carter decided today that he was ready to ride his scooter like a big boy instead of me pulling him the whole time. It's so fun to see him do new things and really enjoy them.

I'm a big kid now!

Carter is always begging to go on the big rides with Boston and today I decided to put the begging to a stop. He is about an inch too short for the bigger rides so we packed some socks and stuffed his shoes. People were looking at me like I was crazy taking him on the Tower of Terror. I was so worried that he would hate it and cry the whole time, but I decided to go with it while as long as he wanted too. To say he loved it would be an understatement. He had the biggest smile on his face the whole time and right when it was over he yelled again! People were giving him high fives and calling him a big boy which he loved of course. Thanks to a couple pairs of extra socks Disneyland just got a whole lot more fun!

Getting Creative

I love it when kids get creative. The boys asked if they could use some of the paper grocery bags to play with and came up with these little numbers. They wore them all around and were pretty proud of themselves.

Season's Over

Today was Boston's last game of the season. He has loved playing baseball this year and has improved SO much! He wanted nothing more than to earn another game ball. He ended up having a great game and was able to get the last game ball!

He has such a great group of boys on his team and really loved playing with all of them. We are excited to have more free time, but will really miss spending time at the ball fields.

Father's and Son's

Trav took the boys on their first ever Father and Son's campout. They had SO much fun! Trav wasn't too sure of the 10:30 bed time and 5:15 wakeup call, but toher than that they had a great time.

Brother Thorum caught two rattle snakes and Boston had no fear and was trying to get in on the action.

That tent was a wedding gift that we have never used. Apparently it was a tight fit for the three of them. They came home happy and covered in dirt which is always a sign of a good time.

Beach Days

We love us some after school beach days! There really is no place like the beach. The boys love it and it keeps us all happy and entertained for hours.

Off to School

Just your regular day at school. He was adamant about wearing his boots and campfire hat to school today. He LOVES his boots and makes sure to tell everyone he can that "Uncle Kyle got my boots at Target" Love this little man and am so glad he is mine!

Mothers Day

I absolutely love Mothers day! There is nothing I love more than being a Mom. It is absolutely the most challenging thing I have ever done, but so worth it and so rewarding.
I woke up to the best surprise from Boston. He had made a "water stand" for Grandma Wilson and I. He was so proud of his "Free for Grandma and Mom Yum!!!!" sign that he made all by himself. He held true to his word and made sure I had my water ALL day long. It was darling!

The boys were SO excited about the gifts they made me at school and could barely wait until today for me to open them.
Carter gave me a matted picture of him along with a cute hand print poem. Boston made the cutest corsage our of tissue paper that even smelled yummy thanks to a dash of perfume from school. He was so excited for me to wear it to church and would beam whenever anyone commented on it.

We had Mom Wilson here with us which is always the best! I am so blessed to have such an amazing Mom that would do anything for me and to marry into a family that would do the same is very rare and I feel so blessed.

Youth Auction Dinner

I was recently called to serve in the Young Women program at church and we had our first big event tonight. Every year they do an auction dinner to earn money for summer camps. Holy smokes those are an undertaking! We have some VERY generous people in our ward and we were able to meet our goal and earn all the money needed to send these kids to camp.

The kids enjoyed our little photo booth station and were more than willing to let me get a picture which is not the norm these days.

2nd tooth gone!

During breakfast this morning Boston lost another tooth. He woke up pretty excited that the tooth fairy had come and couldn't wait for another visit. I wish that hole would stay there for a while, but he has two very crooked teeth on their way in.

D-Land with G&G Wilson

G&G Wilson were in town for the weekend to watch Bobo play in one of his baseball games so we decided to take advantage of the extra day and hit up Disneyland. Carter is just barely too short for the 40 inch rides and he has been begging to go on them so I decided to bring extra socks and stuff his shoes. He was SO excited to go on Thunder Mountain! After the ride he threw his arms up in the air and yelled "again". Our little thrill seeker was in heaven!

Bobo and I talked Grandpa into going on Tower of Terror with us and he absolutely LOVED it! We got to hear his big belly laugh which is always a sure sign of Grandpa having fun.

Before heading home for the day we watched the Pixar parade and everybody loved it. As many times as we have been to Disneyland the parade's never get old.
