Traveling is never easy. When you add a ridiculous amount of medical supplies to your luggage and some that they wont let go in the belly of the plane it can be a little harder. Thankfully for me the boys are always SO great!!
Shouldn't this be the other way around?!?! I think it should, but our luck was not so. Pretty much anytime we got in the car or on the plane Boston was out and Carter was always wide eyed.
I will let your imagination figure out what is in that bottle. Crazy California traffic on the way to the airport left this as our only option. He was SO proud of it! Now I am just hoping that he doesn't think it is ok to do.
When we got to the Oakland airport to leave for Seattle there were ridiculous lines. The airways system was down and they were having to do everything manually. We were freaking out and not too excited to back up our crazy amount of luggage and wait for the next flight since they weren't holding any. Thankfully we had printed off our boarding passes or we wouldn't have had a shot at all to get on the plane. Well Carter and all his medical stuff pulled through for us. I think it's fair to say that we used the "Carter Card". I only felt a little bit guilty about it and that is because there were SO many random people saying the meanest things. I am not someone to ever say things to people in situations like that, but boy did I want to. To make the day better when we got to Seattle our car seats didn't arrive and they broke our stroller. They were going to loan us a umbrella stroller and order us a new one online. Sorry folks, but walking all over downtown with a suction bag, feeding pump, and med supplies was not happening. Trav was super nice which played out in our favor definitely. We were able to talk with them and find a stroller and have them pay us back the next day. Holy smokes it was one crazy day!
