We had such a fun 4th of July! I always have different ideas of what would be fun for the 4th than Travis does ha. This year we kinda mixed it up and did a little of both and we both came away saying that we should do a parade next year which was what was missing from my list. So the no parade aside it was tons of fun. We met up with some friends at their parents house and swam and BBQ'd. After we went to the Yorba Linda City fireworks and they were seriously impressive!
Boston and his friend Diego had an intense sword fight. Us parents were dying laughing. Then they got serious and had a "skateboard trick show"
Carter would go from smiling to crying depending on the fireworks it was pretty funny.
Carter was being such a ham for the camera. We couldn't stop laughing at his tilted head pose he was doing.
Boston on the other hand was not into the whole picture taking thing. Such a fun day. The 4th is definitely one of my favorite holidays. I should note that I cried like four times that day when I watched the ESPN coming home clip. The surprise soldier coming home clips get me every time. We are so blessed to live in the amazing country. Despite all the crazy things I don't agree with I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
