Romantic?

Isn't it supposed to be romantic when you significant other paints your toes? Well my little significant other informed me a couple days ago that "you need to fix paint on you's toes. Only big one has it left". It's true I am not good at keeping my toes painted and have certainly never been one to do regular pedicures. I told Boston he was right and that I would go fix them. I told him he could choose the color and somehow it turned into him painting my toes. He was very focused the entire time and did a wonderful job. Just another reason I am absolutely crazy about my little Mr. romantic in training.

Best Buds

These pictures are about two weeks old, but I had to post them. Boston and Julia are such great friends and I absolutely love these pictures I got of them playing last week.

4th of July Weekend

We had a great 4th weekend. We spent it with Trav's Brothers and their families. Boston and I did a little craft together that he took very seriously and was actually interested in for longer than 15 minutes. Friday we spent the morning at the pool and tried to get them really tired for naps. Well it got them really tired, but no naps happened I am sure you can guess that everyone was very tired by the end of the day.

Saturday morning we got up and went to the Plano city parade. It was pretty lame, but the kids loved it and the adults had a good time laughing at the floats (or lack there of), the old man riding his bike in shorts that were shorter than I would wear, and all the Texas churches. Have I ever told you how many different churches there are in Texas? Alot! Our favorite at the parade was definitely the Cowboy Church. After the parade we went and let the kids run around at the play place in the mall and later that night we had a BBQ.

Sunday we went to church and had a yummy dinner at Ed and Xela's house. That night we went to the city fireworks which definitely were a part of budget cuts. They were pretty lame and short and definitely not worth the hour and a half it took to get home. Again the kids loved it so it always makes it better.

Monday we spent the day at the pool again and enjoyed Freebirds and Mooyah for Dinner.

It was a great weekend with family. The kids are all more than worn out and in need of some really good naps. I love the 4th of July and am so grateful for everything it represents.

I do have to say that the 4th of July is one of the only things besides Family/Friends I miss about Utah. Hands down Provo/Orem best place to be on the 4th.
