The Zoo

Today my friend and I took the kids to the DFW Zoo. We all had such a good time. Boston and Julia were so good and at such a fun age to go. They knew most the animals and loved watching them.

Dom and Laynie

For spring break my Niece and Nephew came out and spent the week with us. We did so many fun things and had so such a great time. Boston was absolutely crazy about them and still asks when they are coming back. They were so great with him and spent alot of time laughing at him and playing whatever he wanted them too. While they were here we went and took a tour of the Dallas Cowboys stadium (of course the only time I didn't have my camera so annoying). It was so much fun and is an incredible building. I would pay to do it over and over again just to see my Nephews face. He is a huge football fan and was in NFL heaven. I think we may have converted him to be a cowboys fan =) We also went bowling, out to eat, shopping, and they hit up a Mavs game. They are such great kids not even kidding they made their bed every morning and put every dish in the dish washer. What 12 and 13 year olds do that? They were so fun to have around and we can't wait to see them again in a couple weeks.

Easter

Do you remember the Holiday? I am in a big time blog funk, but for the sake of getting it done here I go.

We had a great day and Boston was in Heaven. Lets just say Conference with a two year old doesn't really happen. Trav and I have been watching them at night and like every conference I think this past one is now my favorite. We picked up a general theme of parenting and feel so blessed that we received so much guidance on this amazing blessing that we have to be parents.

We spent the day at my Mom's with my niece and nephew and Brother. Boston was the egg hunt King. Some how he was a pro with never doing it before.

The Easter Bunny was very generous to Boston this year and brought him a trike. Now we just have to get the peddling down.

Today

About 2 1/2 weeks ago we were told that Trav would be layed off at work. About 45 minutes later we heard back from a company that he had been interviewing with and they offered him a job. We feel beyond blessed for this incredible opportunity and even more we are so grateful to our Father in Heaven who through the spirit let us know that we needed to pursue something else before hand.

In case you can't see in the picture Trav will be working for CB Richard Ellis as part of a new accounting team. I am so proud of him and excited for this new road. The old road was getting really old if you know what I mean.

Two

About two weeks ago we got Boston's two year old picture taken. Basically my friend Nicole is AMAZING!!! I am in LOOOVE with them and you will be too I promise.

I can't wait to smother my house in these pictures. Don't worry this isn't even a fraction of the pictures. She gave me a CD with 116 edited pictures. How will I ever choose? If you live in Texas and I haven't told you about Nicole (which I highly doubt I haven't) check her out at shutterviewphotography.com she is incredible!
