D-Land with G&G Wilson

G&G Wilson were in town for the weekend to watch Bobo play in one of his baseball games so we decided to take advantage of the extra day and hit up Disneyland. Carter is just barely too short for the 40 inch rides and he has been begging to go on them so I decided to bring extra socks and stuff his shoes. He was SO excited to go on Thunder Mountain! After the ride he threw his arms up in the air and yelled "again". Our little thrill seeker was in heaven!

Bobo and I talked Grandpa into going on Tower of Terror with us and he absolutely LOVED it! We got to hear his big belly laugh which is always a sure sign of Grandpa having fun.

Before heading home for the day we watched the Pixar parade and everybody loved it. As many times as we have been to Disneyland the parade's never get old.

1st Lost Tooth

Boston's bottom two teethe have been loose for a long time! He has been so careful with them and hasn't really wiggled them all that much until about a week ago. He was very adamant that we were not going to pull them out and that Grandpa had to be the one to do it. Lucky for us G&G had a visit planned and Grandpa brought his special gel and popped his tooth right out.

I was dying! It aged him a good couple years and broke my Mamma heart. He was is proud of that hole and LOVES to stick his toungue through it!

Naps

I must have done something right to deserve this sleep loving child of mine. He is almost 6.5 years old and still enjoys a nap occasionally. He probably naps 2-4x's a week and never complains about it. The best part is that it doesn't keep him up late at night. We love bedtime around our house and have always been pretty good about having the boys down by 7:30. When Boston naps and gets to stay up until 8:30 he thinks he has struck gold. Little does he know that we are the really lucky ones.

Pee Wars

Not sure what else to title this one other than what it really is. I am a Mom of boys and I have accepted that this is just how it is. For whatever reason pretending your man parts are swords and having a "war" with your pee is all the rage at our house these days. It gets Carter excited to go to the bathroom so whatever! Sure do love those boys of mine!

Rangers Game

If the Rangers are in town you better believe we will be at the game. We are bad luck I guess, because they never win when we go to the game. Kyle and his girlfriend and son were at the game too, but when I took pics they weren't sitting by us yet. Dale, Corey, and Ky's girlfriend were all cheering for the Angels so we were a house divided. My poor Mom is going to have to learn to survive being married to non-rangers fan man which doesn't make him a real man in my opinion. JK Dale we love ya!

Boston is pretty crazy about Corey and is his constant side kick.

Newport Beach Temple

This morning Corey watched the boys while Trav, my Mom, and Dale went to the temple. I LOVE the temple and the blessing it is in my life. It's always so hard to work out a time to go and I'm grateful that we made it work. I am so grateful that because Trav and I were married and sealed in the temple our family will be together forever. Knowing that we will be together even after my life here on earth is over brings me so much peace and gives me so much purpose to do good while I am here. I love my family more than anything and I want nothing more than to spend eternity with them

Grandma D's Birthday Party

My Mom came to town for the weekend to celebrate her birthday. Carter kept saying we were having her birthday party at Disneyland so we all just went with it. He was pretty excited that for once he was actually getting to go to the party since he sees Boston go to them all the time. We had a fun day and Dale and Corey ended up getting passes so there are many more days like this to come.
