Beach Day

There are so many reason I love the beach but here are just a few….
These two actually play nice TOGETHER!
They will actually slow down for a minute and talk to me.
I guess Carter likes it because he gets to go "waters" outside which he LOVES to do.
And lastley because it makes for some tired boys who crash the entire way home. We feel so blessed to live where we do.

Big Primary Boy!

Carter was asked last week to give the prayer in primary today. He has talked about it ALL week and told just about every person we came in contact with. He said he wanted Boston to go up with him, but that he wanted to do it all himself. He was SO excited to do it. He got up there and looked out at the kids and just started crying. It was the saddest/funniest thing ever. Boston came to the rescue and said it for him. Maybe next time buddy.

Blacked Out

We hit up Disneyland one more time with Dad before we were blacked out for the summer. We had such a fun night together! Thanks to Carter's stuffed shoes we were able to go on lots of fun rides together and that made it all the more fun. We are ready for a Disney break, but I'm sure in a couple weeks we will be more than ready to go back for more.

It's rare to get a normal picture of Carter these days. This has been his new picture face lately. He's such a goofball!

Blue Jays Party

Tonight we had Boston's end of season team party. He has had such a great time playing baseball and really has fallen in love with the sport. I'm so glad that he is at a point that he doesn't take it too serious and just has fun playing and doesn't yet have to worry about ti being too competitive. He got most improved on his hitting which was fun because he worked so hard on it and really did come a long ways. He's always been a sucker for a trophy so he was pretty darn happy about adding a new one to his collection.

A day with the Girls

We had a fun day with Stella and Fionna this morning. The kids made targets for the nerf guns out back and had fun shooting them. We took them on our favorite little hike and despite the fact that there were sign everywhere warning them of rattlesnakes I think they had a fun time!

Carter decided today that he was ready to ride his scooter like a big boy instead of me pulling him the whole time. It's so fun to see him do new things and really enjoy them.

I'm a big kid now!

Carter is always begging to go on the big rides with Boston and today I decided to put the begging to a stop. He is about an inch too short for the bigger rides so we packed some socks and stuffed his shoes. People were looking at me like I was crazy taking him on the Tower of Terror. I was so worried that he would hate it and cry the whole time, but I decided to go with it while as long as he wanted too. To say he loved it would be an understatement. He had the biggest smile on his face the whole time and right when it was over he yelled again! People were giving him high fives and calling him a big boy which he loved of course. Thanks to a couple pairs of extra socks Disneyland just got a whole lot more fun!

Getting Creative

I love it when kids get creative. The boys asked if they could use some of the paper grocery bags to play with and came up with these little numbers. They wore them all around and were pretty proud of themselves.
