Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was So much fun! I was so worried how the boys would act and did alot of praying that all our talk about gratitude would pay off. I was so worried that they wouldn't care and act spoiled. I think the key is to take it slow with kids. They get so much and are SO over stimulated and excited and not to mention tired that it can go bad quick. We did stockings, Santa presents, and a couple more and took a break for breakfast. It was perfect.
Carter was SO tired that come 9:30 he was ready to go back to bed. He missed a majority of the present opening, but had fun doing it later on in the day. I think Santa chose well. Carter LOVED his car especially when Boston would push him around for a ride.
Carter with all his loot. He was one happy boy and has so much fun with all his new cars, puzzles, and blocks.
Boston was SO great with all his gifts. He was very grateful and made sure to inspect every gift he was given. He was in no rush to open his presents. We heard "let me take a good look at this", "check this out", and "this is beyond awesome" after almost every present it was so cute.
I am SO glad my father in-law caught this moment. He was SO excited about his new razor from Mom and Dad. I'm sure you can only imagine how excited he was when we actually put it together.
Boston with ALL his loot. I swear between us and grandparents these kids get WAY too much. He was one very happy boy and has been loving all his gifts including the much talked about and long time coming marble track from Santa.
Trav and I were pretty spoiled too. I finally gave Trav something for Christmas that he likes and most important is KEEPING!!! It's a miracle! Trav is the king of "don't get me anything" He is SO hard to shop for and usually returns a majority of his gifts and gets nothing. Super annoying! Not sure it will happen again so I along with my Mom and Mother in-law are enjoying this year. I don't think he returned anything!!! Can ya tell I'm super proud.
It was such a fun morning. I could have watched these kids open presents all morning. It was fun to see them so excited about the gifts they gave to other people. We are very blessed.
