18 Weeks

Feeling pretty good these days. I stopped throwing up around 16 weeks and that has been heaven. I can feel the baby move all the time which is weird because I didn't feel Boston until around 24 weeks. Maybe I just know what it feels like this time who knows. I think Boston actually believes that the baby is in my tummy now instead of my chest which is good =) Trav and I like a couple boy names, but if it is a girl I am pretty sure she will be nameless. We have very different ideas when it comes to girl names.

P.S. Cast your vote for Boy or Girl

Obsessed

This hat obsession has been going in full gear ever since Grandma sent him this Owl hat. He has worn it everyday. He walks around saying "whooo whooo" all day long. The first day he wore it he even insisted I call him "Mr. Owl" instead of Boston. Lets just say that here in Texas we for sure aren't in beanie weather, but he doesn't seem to mind at all.

One of the many "Whooo's"

This last picture makes him look so old. Seriously where did my baby go. We went to the doctors yesterday and the nurse said "you have a very big 3 year old" She about died when I told him he was only two. =(

Dallas Arboretum

Trav is out of town this weekend so our job was to do something fun to keep ourselves busy. So this morning my Mom and I took Boston to the Arboretum Pumpkin Festival and we all had a blast. It was absolutely beautiful there and Boston thought it was the greatest thing ever. He was so happy the entire time and was being so silly that I couldn't put my camera down I had to just keep taking pictures. With that said here are a million pictures from today.

In case you are wondering, Yes he is obsessed with that hat. Well pretty much any hat. He asks to wear one every day.

Pumpkin Picking

Saturday in between sessions of conference we went downtown to Farmers Market to get our pumpkins. Boston absolutely loved walking around the market and sampling all the fresh fruit. He was one sticky mess by the time we walked out of there. We had to hit up the balloon man so Boston could get his very own pumpkin balloon. After we walked across the street to pick out our pumpkins. Trav is the master pumpkin picker outer so we now have a very cute round family of pumpkins. The best part about this whole activity is that our plan actually worked to keep Boston awake during conference break so he would nap during the afternoon session.

Did you enjoy conference? I absolutely loved it! My favorite talk was the one about the cow and the kind of name you will leave behind. I don't remember his name, but it was amazing. The thing that stuck out to me during conference most was "If we don't teach our Children the world will".

Just a couple things

Here I am at 14 weeks. Baby #2 sure is making an appearance way earlier than Boston did.

I haven't thrown up since Sunday.

I still don't dare eat much for fear of throwing it up. As for now I think I will stick to my safe diet of soup and blue gatorade.

I am so excited for Halloween! Have you decorated yet? I put out the few things I have and am really feeling the crafty itch to make more.

At first I thought that I could wait till me next appointment to find out what I am having, but Wednesday is sure sounding good to me.

And lastly I absolutely can not wait for conference this weekend!

Miami

About two weeks ago Trav and I took a little vacation to Miami to celebrate the big 5. It was absolutely AMAZING! We did nothing and that was what made it so great. We tried to sleep in (something neither of us are any good at I think 9:00 was the latest and that was only one day) then headed to the beach and would stay there until it was time to go get showered and ready for dinner. After Dinner we would walk around either on the coco walk or down by the marina and then head home when the late night crowd started coming out. We did hit up a couple authentic Mexican restaurants to fill Travs mission memory cup. We also did do a little looking at some malls, but bought nothing and were very proud of ourselves. Really that was the extent of our vacation, but it was perfect and just what we needed. Here are the couple random/awkward pics we took.

The swimming pool on the roof of the hotel
One of the marinas

This is where we sat everyday at the beach
I may or may not have gotten a million new freckles this vacation
Pretty sure those tans are already gone. Boo

One of us may have gotten a little burned and this is how laying out went the last day
Looking for sea shells for the cute boy we left at home
Our really fast and really big car
Good ol Inca Cola
Our Room
The lifeguard that saved me in the ocean. No joke got stuck in a riptide and he ran in and saved me. Scary then, embarrassing after, really funny to think about now.
Eating a delicious dinner of Subway down at the marina.

Did a little reading on the beach.

It was so great to get away. I only threw up 3 times so that made it even more enjoyable. Boston stayed at home with Grandma D. and I am pretty sure he didn't even know we were gone until we got home. Things like storytime, Chuck E Cheese, Movie, Parks, and lots more kept him very busy. It sure did make it easier to leave him, because lets be honest Trav and I are the biggest wusses when it comes to that. Until next time Miami Thank you Thank you!

The Verdict is...

Pretty much ever since Boston has been born he has had coughs on and off. Anytime he got sick a cough for sure came with it. Other times he would get random nasty coughs for no reason at all. They were never contagious and hardly ever came with a runny nose and/or fever. He has had a cough for the last two weeks and today I noticed he was wheezing so I took him into the doctor half expecting to pay the co-pay and leave with the doctor saying nothing is wrong, because we have done that ALOT! But today with the wheezing being so bad they ran a test to check the amount of oxygen getting into his body and then gave him a breathing treatment. After the treatment they tested his oxygen level again and listened to his chest. It improved alot so they ordered us a machine to have at home so that whenever he has a coughing episode when can just give him the treatment every four hours until it stops. The doctor said that he got this either from genetics (runs on both sides) or has to do with him being premature. Who knows we are just glad that we now have a treatment for him. If this doesn't help or he starts to get them more frequent they will put him on an every day treatment.

The verdict is ASTHMA
