I Love Him

Yesterday I was at the table working on some boards and had Boston laying on a blanket on the floor next to me. I looked over and this is what I saw. He was like this pretty much all day and has been today. Isn't he so stinkin cute.

3 Months

From the mouth of Boston...




Although my hair line might lead you to believe otherwise (my Mom says it looks exactly like my Great Grandpa Haymonds) today April 26th I am 3 months old. My Mom and Dad can't believe how fast time has gone. Some of the great things about being 3 months is that my Mom can answer YES to the dreaded question... "Does he sleep through the night?" I usually go to bed around nine and sleep till six. O how I love my sleep. Also I am big enough to get my diapers from Costco so my Mom and Dad can save lots of money to buy me clothes because I am growing out of mine really fast. I like to talk alot as you can see in this post. My favorite time to talk is when I am on my changing table I don't know why but that is when I give the best smiles and talk the most. I still LOVE my swing and really like to be on my back and kick my legs.

Today I have celebrated by going to my cousin Porters football game and having 3 yes 3 blow outs (I only did it because I know how much my Mom loves to scrub and scrub those poop stains out).


Boston we LOVE you so much buddy and are so glad that you are our son. You make us so happy. Life with you here is the BEST!!!!!! Love, Dad & Mom

So Funny!!!

Yesterday we got Boston a Bumbo. I have always thought they were the funniest things. Well after seeing my round little boy in it I thought they were even funnier. Trav wanted me to wait until he got home to put Boston in it so I did and here is the photo shoot of Boston in his Bumbo. He does pretty good in it. His neck still isn't the strongest but getting better.

Last night we went to the Frisco Roughriders (a Texas AAA team) game with a bunch of people Trav works with. One of their vendors gave us all tickets. It was pretty fun the weather was AMAZING and we were in a suite with free food. I didn't really watch the game I just talked and enjoyed being outside here are some pics.

Button Boards

Well I guess since my husband shared my secret & your comments I will show you what I have been up to. Like Trav said there is the cutest boutique right by our house that sells the most amazing custom bedding and children furniture and other little things. When we lived here in the summer we went in there and I fell in love with the little shop (it is one you can really only look at because the bedding is $3,000+). So when I started making the boards I thought about the store and wondered if they would sell there. As you can see it has been a long time because I was too big of a wuss to go in and ask. After some encouragement from Trav I finally did. I met with the owner and she loved them and placed her first order right then. Here are some pics of the ones she ordered.

PS. in case you don't know they are hand painted magnet boards so you can hang pictures on them





So how it will work is since the store is all custom the owner will give me a fabric sample of the bedding people are ordering and I will design one to match or customers can order just a board. I am excited to do this and it keeps me busy so yeah!

Also these are some cute wood blocks I made for Bostons room. Don't you just love Mod Podge.

UTAH

Boston and I went to Utah to visit my family. We had a real good time minus how cold it was. I still can't believe how much we managed to do in the time we were there. Here are some pics of what we did.

Congratulations Teresa!!!!!!

I am normally the one that would not touch a blog with a ten foot pole; however, there are times to make an acception. Teresa would never ever tell anyone about a cool accomplishment that she made this past Monday (in fact I had to make her call her Mom to tell her). Teresa landed her first account (for the button boards we have been selling) at this pretty swanky, high-end boutique in the Shops at Legacy here in Plano. The owner loved her boards and placed an order to keep some as displays in her own store and then some to keep as inventory to sell to whoever wants them. Then, besides replenishing the ones that she sales in the store, Teresa will be interacting with customers to make custom button boards to match that individuals nuresery colors, beddings, cribs, decorations, etc. I am so excited for her and knew that if I did not brag about her, no one would hear about how cool I think she is!!! I love you Teresa!
